So, just like every other school year (all TWO, so far?!) my son, who is now in the 2nd grade, came flying in the door with his school picture day order form, and dread overcame my entire being.
Now this is a normally frustrating and tedious process of scouring the mall for something, anything that is not boring and predictable. And yet this time there was no flash of solid colors, or complimentary colored stripes in alternating widths, or plaid, collared, button downs… and I don’t even have to put him in any sort of team jersey.
It is an AMAZING feeling to say, hey I am the co-owner and designer a clothing line, full of awesome boys shirts, that I am proud to dress my little man in!
It’s so nice to know that my child can finally have a FUN school picture instead of some indistinguishable version of every other elementary aged boy in his school, or the entire school district for that matter.
So this year my son’s crazy, spikey hair won’t look out of place with a a bland and boring outfit selection. He can actually look like the little rockstar he is! I’m thinking the “Little Devil” shirt, he IS 7, it’s very suiting for this age!
I will keep you posted and show off his handsome, 2nd grade, school pictures when we get them!
